Based in Texas, Vidare is a non-profit organisation created to support the advancement of other non-profits through technology. We are looking for remote software developer volunteers to help us create websites for other nonprofits.

The Outreach and Engagement Coordinator leads the planning and execution of engagement and outreach actions and activities. This role will work closely with the President of Vidare to develop a plan to expand and more effectively engage our membership in Vidare consulting opportunities, website/software development, and donation opportunities. The Outreach and Engagement Coordinator will also manage all social media accounts and be responsible with creating new content and engaging with the follower base.

We are looking for a volunteer to:

• Collaboratively develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to grow Vidare's social media following.
• Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
