Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following projects that support PLCF efforts: ●Consult with Department Managers providing HR guidance when appropriate ●Manage HR function including the supervision of the HR team. ●Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies ●Work closely with management and volunteers to improve relationships, build ,increase productivity and retention. ●Manage HR administrative tasks including compliance and accuracy ●Supports HR Projects and initiatives ●Identify training needs for Poppy Life Care Volunteers ●Work closely with Department Managers to insure quality recruitment services ●Manage and direct various special assigned projects from CEO with little supervision ●Perform other tasks as assigned ●Collaborate with Executive Director & Board Members.Experience Requirements:
●Minimum 5-10 experience as a HR generalist or related titles
●Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines and detail oriented ●Experience with working in a collaborative team environment ●Strong verbal and written communication skills ●Previous HR leadership experience ●Working knowledge of human resources disciplines (Recruitment, HR Metrics,Compliance,CulturalBuilding, Training & Development) ●Comfortable with working in a virtual environment ●Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred and/or 5-10 years related experience
Time Commitment Minimum: Flexible, approx. 10 hours per week. Hours may be scheduled during normal business hours (Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Applicants able to schedule the maximum hours/duration listed for the internship/Volunteer typically to gain a more in-depth experience.

Our Why

Poppy Kids Educational Curriculum - we need bright minds and skills to help organize these programs, implement and promote them withing schools. The purpose of the education curriculum is to provide media such as video, children's and parents books or packages that provide guidance, promote acceptance and encourage lifestyle changes. In addition, these media outlets can be resources for parents and children alike to help them cope with daily challenges or ongoing pains.
Poppy Care Directors Program -- This program offers in-home care and support for kids with autism, ADHD, anxiety or depression. The purpose is to relieve parents of the often times demanding therapy sessions, provide an in-home "assistant" that gives parents the ease of mind that they have someone there to help them. As this program develops, there are more support systems created that we will implement.
