All volunteer actors permit New Heights Educational Group (NHEG) photographers to take pictures, videos and audio files for use in educational projects.

Students, parents, families and friends will be required to sign agreements regarding the use of their images, videos and audio. These will be included in the following media forms used by NHEG for educational, promotional and advertising purposes: website, magazine (emailed and mailed), brochures, display boards, blogs, social media, yearbook photos, event flyers and advertisements, posters, educational articles, press releases, video recordings and new media projects and/or educational books written by NHEG.

We are mostly looking for actors to reproduce true-life success stories shared by our organization.

Actors must possess good communication skills, such as speaking with people outside the organization and representing the organization to customers, the public, government organizations and other external sources.

They should be able to coordinate the work and activities of others, including getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.

They must keep themselves updated and use relevant knowledge to stay up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to their position.

Actors must have creative thinking skills, such as developing, designing or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems or products including artistic contributions.

Requirements

• All potential actors must submit a resume with phone numbers and three references and complete a background check.
• No previous experience is necessary, but if you’d like to share a bio, headshot and why you’d like to participate in the program, you may do so.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be a self-starter and follow through with projects in a reasonable amount of time.
• Must use creative thinking to interpret written and audio scripts; research characters and roles; and perform to entertain, inform or instruct. Work requires collaboration with other actors, videographers, cinematographers, directors and a variety of other crew members. They must follow the instructions given by the organization's director.

They must be able to portray a spectrum of emotions through body movements, gestures and speech.

• Actors are performers who work across various media, including radio and film. Some of them also do voice-overs for animated projects and act on commercials and recordings. Acting is a powerful profession; by pretending to be somebody else, actors are able to trick people into believing that the character they are playing is actually real. They influence emotions, trends and critical discussion.
