Our individuals have not been able to volunteer in the community due to COVID. We have had to find creative ways to reach our community and give back. One of the things they have enjoyed doing is exchanging books at the Little Library boxes in the community. visit littlefreelibrary.org for more information. They would like to start and maintain their own little library but lack the funds to building or purchase the box itself. They have the books that they can use to stock and maintain the library, they just need a few willing and able bodies to help either build a box or purchase an already made one. Our individuals love to read and love to give back to their community but have been limited in doing so since March of 2020. This is a way that not only can they continue to enjoy reading boos but also share and promote literacy in their community. Once this opportunity is fulfilled, it will be removed.
