Spend time with hospice patients and families providing support and companionship. Opportunities vary depending on the patient from companionship, caregiver respite, light housekeeper and other opportunities. This is a wonderful opportunity for students going into the medical field to get real world experience developing their skills to relate to patients. Also a wonderful opportunity for anyone who wants to make a difference for people when it is needed most.
