The Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with services provided, interaction with patients, and getting information out to cancer patients. The Foundation has 2 locations, both on the east side of Tucson. The Resource Center is located on Craycroft Rd and the Welcome Center is located on Wilmot Rd.

Eventually, volunteer opportunities will open up in the infusion rooms as well.
Shifts are available either 9 to 1 or 1 to 5, Monday through Friday. If you can offer one shift a week, or more if you have the time, the Foundation would love to have you.

2 Shifts

  • afternoon / 01:00 PM to 04:45 PM
    Two shifts daily are available. The morning shift is 9 to 1 and the afternoon shift is 1 to 5.

Arizona Oncology Foundation's mission is to provide support services to those whose lives are touched by cancer.

Description

Arizona Oncology Foundation is a community-based, non-profit organization serving anyone fighting cancer. The Foundation offers a wide variety of programs and services for patient's in active treatment, long-term survivors, spouses, family members and caregivers. The Foundation also provides information regarding community resources when we are unable to accommodate a patient's needs, as well as a lending library with a wide range of information for patients. We are looking for volunteers to assist in helping the patients find the services they need, as well as help the Foundation reach as many cancer patients as possible so they are aware of what the Foundation has to offer.
