ACC Senior Services is looking for compassionate and energetic volunteers to assist with individual and group activities at Maple Tree Village. This opportunity is perfect for individuals interested in senior care, and provides a chance to connect with our community in an incredibly meaningful way. Maple Tree Village houses residents in Memory Care and Assisted Living, and offers a wide range of activities at different levels of involvement.

In a typical shift, you will:
- Assist residents to the activity location within the facility, and assist them throughout the activity.
- Set up class materials, pass out materials to residents, and assist in clean up.
- Participate in one-on-one and group games and activities with residents.

Skills that will help you be successful in this position:
- Ability to be objective and empathetic, and conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must be sensitive to the needs of the residents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule & Length of Commitment:
Flexible shifts available, minimum shift length 2 hours; multiple shifts available Monday - Sunday between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm. Additional evening shifts available Tuesday - Saturday from 4:00pm - 7:30pm.

Note about Scheduling:
Average shift length approximately 3 hours, and split up by morning, midday, afternoon, and evening.

ACC Senior Services (ACC) volunteers provide priceless dedication and support to our organization, and help us make a difference in the lives of seniors and family caregivers. As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, assist with program implementation, and of course - make new friends! The ACC Volunteer Program is made up of a diverse group of individuals such as students, working professionals, homemakers, retirees, and more. The key characteristics that bring our volunteers together within our organization are their friendliness and interest in helping others.

We understand that volunteers need flexibility, so our Volunteer Coordinator will work with you to find a position that best fits your availability, skills, and interests.
