**ImpactLife is now requiring all staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required. Masks will also continue to be worn by all staff, volunteers and donors.
Our Urbana Donor Center needs outgoing, positive volunteers to assist with registration of donors!Available Opportunities:
Mondays 7:30 -12p
Fridays 10a - 12:30p
Prepare work area to include signing on to computer and checking printer to affirm all is operating properly
Initial greeting of the donor and welcoming them to the center
Verify the donor schedule and accurate identification, notify supervisor of deviations from norm
Schedule donors for their next donation appointment
Assist charge nurse with maintaining steady, efficient donor flow
Assist with Canteen when needed

Requirements:
Must be at least 18
We ask you to commit for a minimum of 6 months

Description
The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
