Emerald Academy, a charter school associated with Emerald Youth Foundation, will be starting their summer break on June 4 this year and during the remainder of June we will be working throughout the school to get it ready for next school year. We will have 2 groups of 10 per day, a Morning group (9:30-12:30PM) and an Afternoon group (1:30-4:30PM). I have put a list of what we will be doing below:

  • Moving and cleaning all desks and other furniture in each classroom
  • Clean and prep walls to be painted
  • Painting
  • Change light bulbs
  • Weed and put out straw in Courtyard
  • Spread wood chips on playground
  • Regrout bathroom floors
  • Change batteries on automatic sinks and toilets
  • Clean windows
  • Paint backstage in the auditorium

Emerald Youth Foundation is a Christian, urban youth and community ministry in Knoxville, TN serving over 2,000 young people annually.
