Volunteering for Junior Achievement is FUN! Volunteers present five hands-on activities to an elementary school class. Each activity is between 30 and 45 minutes long, depending on grade level. Volunteers in the high school teach 5-8 lessons. Each activity last 45 - 50 minutes. Colorful, user-friendly and proven materials, as well as orientation and training, are provided. Teachers are present in the classroom to assist and provide support. What do you talk about? The complete materials are based on relevant business, finance, and economic themes for each grade. Volunteers are encouraged to supplement the activities with personal experiences.
