- The Stage Nature Center is managed by the Troy Nature Society, a nonprofit organization. The 2023 Nature Uncorked Wine & Beer Tasting event will raise funds to underwrite the educational nature programs and activities conducted at the nature center.
- Monthly committee meetings are held by zoom conferencing. This volunteer opportunity is for those 21 years of age and over. The next committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 5:30 pm by zoom conferencing.
- All social distancing guidelines will be observed for the event which is scheduled to be held on November 10, 2023 at the Troy Community Center | 3179 Livernois | Troy, MI 48083. (2pm-10pm total time of set-up/event/tear down).
- This opportunity is best for: local Troy, Michigan volunteers
All areas of committee support are welcome: Sponsorship/Ad acquisitions / ticket sales / auction item acquisitions and food/beverage acquisitions. Additionally, day-of event assistance includes: Registration / Set up / Tear Down/ Food Assistants/ Silent Auction Assistants, Game Assistants. Assistance also needed for pre-event activities such as auction preparation and bid sheet creation prior to the event. A brief Orientation Training will be held by ZOOM for all committee volunteers on Thursday, October 19th at 6:30 pm. This short session will cover all event details for those assisting on the day of the event.

Description
Stage Nature Center is managed by the Troy Nature Society, a nonprofit organization. This unique 100-acre preserve has two miles of walking trails, rolling meadows, forest trails and marshlands. Visitors to the Stage Nature experience a variety of sights and sounds that are unique in the Troy area. Our visitors are in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds them as they walk our trails.
Inside the Stage Nature Center interpretive building, many nature-inspired educational programs are held throughout the year such as nature hikes, Knee-High Naturalists, Little Acorns, Nature Explorers, Maple Syrup Days, scouting badge completion classes, home school nature classes, school field trips and so much more!
