2025 Run For Nature - Committee Members Needed (5K Run / 2K Walk)

• The Stage Nature Center is managed by the Troy Nature Society, a nonprofit organization. The Run For Nature event will raise funds to underwrite the educational nature programs and activities conducted at the nature center.
• Run/Walk Committee meetings are held virtually through zoom conferencing at this time. Members will need to have or create a zoom account with their name and email address to participate. The first Committee Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2025, at 5:30 pm by zoom conferencing.
• The event will be held on SUNDAY, JUNE 8, 2025, at the Troy Farm, located at South Blvd. and Beach Road.
  
• All social distancing guidelines will be observed for the event. This event will have Runners and Walkers participating on a scattered-start basis and on two separate courses.
  
  This opportunity is best for: local Troy, Michigan volunteers.

The 2025 Run for Nature Committee is seeking committee members to help organize the 5K Run/2K Walk for Nature fundraiser. Event also includes a Little Sprout Sprint race for children 10 years of age and under. Over 250 individuals have participated previously in this fun family event.

All areas of committee support are welcome. Sub-committees are now being formed: Sponsorship/Food Acquisitions plus Day-of event help: Set up / Tear Down/ Course Assistants/ Parking Attendants. Assistance also needed for pre-event activities such as stuffing goodie bags and assisting with packet/bib/t-shirt pick-up on dates scheduled prior to the event. A brief Orientation Training will be held by zoom conferencing for all Run volunteers and committee members in May. Date to be determined.
