We need you! The Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter is looking for volunteers to help us with our Walk to End Alzheimer's fundraising, marketing, and planning committee. You are invited to join us where you can play a vital role in team recruitment, marketing and cultivation of supporters in the area. This is the perfect volunteer opportunity to stretch your leadership skills and help us get more groups, businesses, and individuals involved in the fight against Alzheimer's. Plus, you'll join a group of dynamic and passionate individuals who are making a difference. New members are welcome to join anytime! Contact us for more information. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!

The Alzheimer’s Association’s mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s Disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Description
The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.
