Looking for Pet Therapy Volunteers to provide our terminal patients with comfort, peace and soothing companionship that only Certified Pet Therapy Dogs and their handlers can provide. If your dog isn't certified, I can give you information on how to accomplish that. We have opportunities in facilities and in the home setting.

We have opportunities for those who would like to spend time directly with our hospice patients/families, as well as, those who like to assist from a more "behind the scenes" approach. - Looking for volunteers who are willing to commit to 4-6 hours per month. The timing of visits in facilities can be flexible.
- Background check, TB skin test, 6-8 hours of hospice training, copies of up-to-date auto insurance and driver's license if you are driving your own vehicle to visits. Vaccination records and Pet Therapy certificate .
