Are you a POUND instructor? Go to a class? Want to use your platform to promote brain health? POUND has become a 2021 Global Team for the Alzheimer's Association second largest signature event, The Longest Day. We are looking for instructors and participants to join the fight to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by participating in The Longest Day. The Longest Day, the summer solstice, is June 20, 2021. The day with the most light is the day we fight.

Description

The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.
