We're looking for ongoing volunteers to join our Longest Day planning committee. This committee of volunteers will assist in recruitment, marketing, engagement for fundraising teams for the Longest Day event(s) in June. Please reply to this posting to learn more about this opportunity. A description of potential duties and a link to the Longest Day site is below. We need your help!!

  • Identify areas of recruitment for the event
  • Recruit Fundraising Leaders
  • Connect with past participants to re-engage them in event
  • Cultivate relationships with Fundraising Leaders and provide coaching and ideas on how to raise funds, recruit team members and plan their day.

As we are in a particularly challenging time due to COVID-19, our services for caregivers are greatly needed. Help us continue to raise money, with a particular shift in VIRTUAL events. We would love to have you join us!

Description

The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.
