Calling all medical staff to participate at one of the largest Health Screenings in our region:
"MASCON HEALTH FAIR"
December 29th through 30th, 2023
ICNA Relief is excited to once again be participating in the yearly MAS-ICNA CONVENTION, December 29-30. We are looking to manage a huge on-site health fair that will occupy the space of 16 booths. This convention is expected to attract between 15 - 25,000 visitors this year and we are hoping to be offering visitors an array of FREE health services.
This would be a great opportunity for YOU to be involved in continuing to help others. You will be able to directly reach out to the community by assisting with any of the medical services that we are providing. We need YOUR involvement in order to make this a success!
Services that we are looking to offer visitors include:
- Anemia Check
- Blood Glucose Screening
- Hemoglobin A1C Screening
- Blood Pressure check
- Body Mass Index Analysis
- Breast Cancer Education
- Vision Test + Glaucoma Screening
- Dental Screening
- Nutrition/Diet Counseling
- Colon Cancer Education
- Pharmacist Education
- Health Education App
- Dermatology
Since this is a huge three-day event, eight hours each day total [divided into (2) 4hr shifts]- we are in need of local volunteers to assist us. We are looking for the following to volunteer their time for the valuable services that we are offering.
- Physicians
- Dieticians
- Dentists
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs)
- Physician Assistants
- Pharmacists
- Optometrists
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: (You may sign up for multiple shifts)
* ALL DAY = 1pm - 8pm
* HALF DAY = 1pm - 5pm
* HALF DAY = 4pm - 8pm
LOCATION:
McCormick Center, Chicago, IL 60611
ADDITIONAL BONUS:
* Lunch/dinner, and snacks will be provided
* Parking will be reimbursed for each volunteer
* Free entry to convention [day of volunteer shift]

- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Daily volunteer shifts are 4 hours each, with two available shifts per day. Volunteers may request to volunteer for both shifts in a day, as well as for other shifts on different days.
- All volunteers must be free of any communicable diseases, including COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms. Additional information will be shared to volunteers prior to their shift. Please no volunteers under the age of 18.
