Michelson Found Animals' Better Neighbor Project is looking for volunteers to assist in their weekly pet food distribution to community members on Wednesdays from 9am to 11:30am at the Weingart East LA YMCA in Boyle Heights - 2900 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90023

Community Pet Ambassadors will be responsible for:

• Supporting staff with assembling the pet pantry distribution area
• Offloading/loading pet food
• Prepping pet food for community members
• Providing excellent customer service to the community (distributing pet food, handing out resources, answering questions, etc)
• Setting up pet pantry booth and area with necessary supplies (table cloths, pop up tents, PPE, etc)

Required Training/Qualifications:

• On-Site Training
• 18+ years of age or 16+ years of age with parent/guardian
• Possess basic range of motion to complete simple tasks such as sweeping, wiping down, lift and/or move up to 25lbs, etc.
• Spanish speakers are a plus!
