We appreciate you volunteering with WAAA!

We’re looking for a talented and driven Social Media Marketing intern to join our team at Washington Autism Alliance (WAA.) The Social Media assistant will support the Community Engagement team to curate and create excellent relevant content; post and monitor four social media channels for engagement and analytics.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and promote engaging discussions on the WAA Facebook and linkedIn pages with images and content
  • Post relevant content to Instagram and build followers of the organization.
  • Prepares the monthly email newsletter with images and content.

Qualifications

  • Social Media familiarity: Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media interfaces
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) familiarity
  • Online Marketing knowledge and experience
  • Graphic Web design (Canva) skills are desired by not required
  • Video editing is desired by not required
  • History of volunteering and passion for helping others


Compensation

All interns receive training and experience within this career field as well as an exceptional letter of recommendation.

Estimated Time Commitment is 7-10 flexible hours per week. All WAA volunteer staff members must be available to attend a weekly planning meeting.
