The donation coordinator takes in donated equipment and/or gives out donated equipment. The coordinator receives a text asking if they can go to the Atrium Myers Park clinic to give out equipment. If yes, they will receive:
- The list of equipment to be put out into the room
- The patient name to be put on the equipment
- The phone number to call when the equipment is in the room.
The donation coordinator locks up and goes on their way.

Our goal is to establish Assist M.E. as the go-to organization for advocacy on behalf of and providing assistance to individuals with mobility disabilities in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg community.
Description
Assist ME takes in gently used medical equipment, such as standard manual wheelchairs, bedside commodes, tub transfer benches, shower chairs, etc. ), clean them up and gift them to low income, uninsured patients. When patients have this type of equipment, they fall less often and are readmitted to hospitals less often.
