Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles sells good quality, donated, used furniture and collectibles at reasonable prices.Under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager, you will work with the sales team on inventory management ensuring all inventory is represented correctly across all platforms, tagging inventory, taking stock of products and restocking shelves.
If you are detail oriented and observant you will love this position. You will gain experience with challenging administrative projects, learn merchandising, work with people from all walks of life, meet like-minded people interested in social justice and gain a valuable reference for future employment. It is an active position with some desk time.

Uhuru Furniture and Collectibles is a non-profit store that is a fundraiser for black community empowerment programs of APEDF. We receive a truck load of donated furniture and household items every day. This is a lively, popular Grand Lake area store staffed mostly by volunteers.
