The children and youth ACASI supports are unique in that they have all experienced loss of a parent due to an Intimate Partner Homicide (IPH). Matching some of these children with volunteer mentors or tutors is one of the ways we hope to help them through the healing process.

The primary goals for mentors are to be engaged and committed to mentees, helping them build self-confidence, navigate life optimistically, learn and have fun.

The typical ACASI volunteer need is for one-to-one mentoring, yet ACASI offers other volunteer opportunities.
