This position requires the person to be directly connected to the Washington DC area. This person will hold the NAAAP PRIDE DIRECTOR title and have the flexibility to recruit additional committee members for support.

  • Reports to and supports the VP of Programming in day-to-day operations
  • Plan and execute NAAAP Pride (LGBTQ+ focused) programming
  • Be an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community
  • Attend all Committee, Programming and Executive Team meetings
  • Open to all backgrounds and ethnicities

Term:

  • One-year, re-electable with no limit

Requirements: An executive presence and desire and ability to coach team members. Prior leadership experience preferred.

Succession Planning Requirement: The NAAAP Pride Director must identify a suitable potential successor to their role by the middle of their term, to be formally vetted by the President and Board of Trustees.
