Go Ahead, Make My Day!
Let's Trash My Junk Mail and Pick Up My Groceries...

A local fellow who loves all forms of music, classical, jazz, fusion and who plays drums needs a buddy for guided walks, shopping, occasional social activities like jamming sessions, getting coffee or just getting out of the house. This fellow has a long work history in a dynamic, high intensity field helping people prepare for their future. Now, he needs a little assistance due to failing vision which makes driving impossible. If you are interested in making a new friend while doing some volunteer work that makes a difference, this is a great opportunity for you. If you don't 'jam' but like to walk or go out for coffee or lectures this is a great opportunity!

Requirements to be a great volunteer include:

  • a desire to help others;
  • a pleasant demeanor;
  • a good reading/speaking voice;
  • average reading skills;
  • organizational or planning abilities;
  • a good driving record;
  • a clear criminal history;
  • two references
  • access to a car with proof of insurance;
  • a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.
