School Garden & Farm Assistant

Upkeeping our school garden and grounds is a community effort!

Tasks that Garden & Farm assistants might work on include:

  • weeding, cutting back/pulling out old plant growth
  • fill wheel barrow with soil and top up planting areas
  • build out farm - moving straw bales
  • organizing garden classroom supplies
  • watering
  • seed starting
  • up potting seedlings
Potential volunteers will connect over Zoom with our Garden Teacher/Farm Manager to discuss the opportunity and then if the fit is right and we can find a schedule that works, she will invite you to campus.

While there may be some flexibility on schedule, generally volunteers shifts should be 1-3 hours per week within the following windows:
Mon 8am-11am, Tues 12:30-2:30, Thurs 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-11am or 12:30-5pm

One-time small volunteer groups may also be possible, please reach out.
