Board members are selected from volunteers who want to go the next step. Much of our board work consists of short and long term projects as well as the normal "business" functons - finance, legal, PR, HR, fund raising, etc. We do not believe in frequent or lengthy meetings. Instead, individuals and teams work alone or together to get the jobs done and board members meet six times a year to review and coordinate the efforts.

Description
Eastside Meals on Wheels in a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We rely on nearly 300 volunteers to deliver over 40,000 meals each year. We protect older adults by helping provide the comfort of a warm delicious meal and the personal contact they need. Our volunteers help seniors and individuals with disabilities remain in their own homes - right where they want to be.
