ORGANIZATION: Pups without Borders

Fostering is the backbone of our organization. For every foster home we find, we are able to rescue one more dog or litter of puppies. Opening up your heart and home to a foster is very rewarding and sometimes necessary in transitioning a dog to being an adoptable family pet.

Fosters are provided with all necessary supplies, such as beds, toys, food, etc. The rescue also covers any medical needs the foster animal may require.

Fosters are required to house, feed and care for the dog as well as provide love and socializing so the dog can become more comfortable among humans and their surroundings.

The timeline for fostering varies for each individual animal, but in general we ask for a two week commitment for dogs/ puppies, and a one to two month commitment for pregnant dogs or nursing moms with litters.

Fostering can be a large time commitment, especially if you're willing to care for a mom and her puppies!

Mission Statement

We specialize in saving pregnant dogs and puppies who have been abandoned or require medical help. Our goal is to provide the best in home experience possible for our rescued animals while they wait for their furever homes.

Description

Pups Without Borders was established in March of 2020, when the world was at the peak of chaos.

While we have rescued dogs of all ages, we specialize in rescuing pregnant and nursing mothers who have been abandoned or are in need of medical help. All of our rescued dogs are given numerous medical tests before entering any of our foster homes. We always test for:

Parvo, distemper, giardia, coccidia, tick-borne illnesses, and CTVT. Dogs who are sick and in need of treatment are housed with fosters or in medical facilities while they receive whatever treatment they may need.
