College Now and Career Network a nonprofit organization is looking for a web designer to develop our company website in Square Space. The idea candidate has some experience building a website in Square Space. The new Web Developer will work with our Marketing Committee to ensure our website's presence is on brand and able to enroll students into our education programs.

responsibilities

  • Upload high-quality images and design the company website using the Square Space platform.
  • Make suggestions and assist with the visual layout of content on our education-based website
  • Edit, proofread and suggest improvements to written content and flow of website
  • Work with the Marketing Community members to develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance brand identity, broaden awareness of program offerings, and increase visibility across key audiences.
  • Integrate Social Media into website content
  • Comply with copyright and privacy regulations
  • Track and analyze website traffic, producing reports to present to the Marketing Committee
  • Educate the marketing committee on the companies website and make suggestions to improve user engagement

POSITION TIME REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate is available 5 hours a month but may fluctuate based on the need to complete website updates.

The new Web Developer will be provided a reference letter or LinkedIn reference from our Executive Director upon completion of the website project.

We are a new nonprofit educational program for high school students and young adults. Our goal is to inspire 1000 high school students a year to earn a college certificate, secure an internship, or a 21-century job with a liveable wage.
