Position Summary
The fundraiser is responsible for identifying new funding opportunities and helping convert prospective individuals, foundations, embassies, agencies, NGOs and companies into donors to increase donations to Joyland Prime Academy. This position will support the expansion of Joyland Prime Academy's donor network.
Responsibilities
- Drafting a compelling donation platform requesting for financial donations
- Proactively research relevant Requests For Proposals (RFP) and funding opportunities
- Advancing engagement strategies to secure various donor types, including foundations, companies,agencies, embassies, NGOs, and individuals to increase financial donations
- Collaborate with individuals and organizations and serving as a primary contact for donors
The challenges we are facing today include:-
Classrooms
- 5 classrooms to be used by over 400 learners
- high congestion in the available classrooms lead to a lot of sweating and breathing complications
- uncomfortable learning environment
Toilets
- only 2 toilets to be used by over 400 learners
- disease causing germs contaminate community land
- most kids run home for toilets because of a long queue
Our solution is to build more toilets and classrooms to bring back over 2000 children who dropped out from school.
To complete each classroom costs $ 5500 while each toilet costs $ 510. Any amount you can fund raise is OK for us.
