The Kennebunk ReStore is open Wednesday-Saturday. Morning volunteers help receive donations, test appliances, price items and get the sales floor ready for the day. Afternoon volunteers receive donations and provide friendly customer service, marking items as sold, We also have a cashier shift available from 12:00-4:00.
The ReStore is a fun and relaxed environment, we have a committed group of core volunteers but are also looking for new people to join the team. No experience is necessary, we will train all new volunteers. If you would like more information email us at program@habitatyorkcounty.org

Description
Strong and stable homes help build strong and stable communities. A decent place to live can remove barriers to opportunity, success and health that might have been part of a family’s life for years, if not generations. Habitat York County builds 1-2 affordable homes a year. We run a ReStore in Kennebunk which sells used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more. All proceeds from the ReStore support our affordable housing mission. We also run a community weatherization and aging in place program that provides services at no cost to eligible low income homeowners in York County.
