We need a grant writer in the USA to help us research, write and apply for grants.
Our areas of impact are women empowerment, equity, economic independence, cultural skills, menstrual hygiene, girl child education and more.

We are looking for experienced grant writers that have previously worked with similar nonprofits in the USA and Kenya. Willing and able to apply to USAID and other federal and state departments. Look into foundations and other nonprofits to collaborate on ideas and events.

Sawa Sawa Collection is a non-profit fashion line that aims to empower artisan women in Kenya make a sustainable, dignified living using skills handed down through generations in weaving, beading, basketry, and art. Proceeds go towards women empowerment programs and menstrual kits to help girls stay in school consistently.

Our mission is to empower artisan women in Kenya make a sustainable living using skills handed down through generations in weaving, beading, basketry and art. They use locally sourced, organic, natural materials to create fashion accessories and art. Proceeds empower women and provide girls with menstrual kits to help them stay in school.

Description

The idea was born in 2014. Helping women has been a huge part of Anne's and Catherine's lives. Sawa Sawa was registered as a nonprofit in 2019.
Our programs involve empowering women. Each village has unique needs and providing school age girls with menstrual kits to help them stay in school.
