On April 2, 2021, the Town of Merrimack officially celebrated its 275th Birthday. As part of the Town’s yearlong celebration the Parks & Recreation Department is going to be holding a 2.75 Mile "Not Quite A 5K Run/Walk".
This family-friendly road race is perfect for both avid runners and recreational walkers alike. The relatively flat course begins and ends in the heart of historic downtown Merrimack. The race will be professionally timed by North Star Timing and will employ a "time trial start" format that will facilitate "social distancing". Participants will be seeded based on their self-submitted paces and sorted by pace from fastest to slowest.
Volunteers will be needed for all aspects of the Race including but not limited to Setup, Check In / Bib Pickup, Course Monitors, Start Line / Race Timing Volunteers, etc.
