Literacy Delaware is looking for adults in the Georgetown area to tutor other adults in either English or reading. Training is provided. A Tutor Orientation will be held via Zoom on Thursday 22 April 2021: there are two sessions, attendance at only one is requested. The times are 1:30-2:30 and 6:30-7:30. Interested adults who have at least a GED will need to complete an application and undergo a background check prior to beginning Tutor Training. Training will be held every Thursday in May. Two sessions will be provided for each training: 1:30-3 & 6:30-8. Upon completion of training, tutors are matched with learners. Learners and tutors will hold their sessions on mutually agreed upon days and times.
