Tech help (scripting, network) for national right to counsel movement!
Public Justice Center / Nat'l Coalition for Civil Right to Counsel
The National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel (civilrighttocounsel.org) is looking for help with some one-off tech needs:
- moving our mailman-based listservs to a new home, since the company housing our current ones (Site5) is silently dropping emails (it's not strictly necessary that the listservs remain mailman listservs, although t would be easier management-wise if they were);
- moving our DNS and domain registration from Site5 to somewhere else (preferably wherever the listservs are rehomed);
- writing a script to convert all Mac aliases and absolute symlinks within a directory tree to relative symlinks.
If someone were able to take on any or all of these tasks, we would be extremely grateful!

The National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel (NCCRC), organized and funded in part by the Public Justice Center, is an association of individuals and organizations committed to ensuring meaningful access to the courts for all. Founded in 2003, our mission is to encourage, support, and coordinate advocacy to expand recognition and implementation of a right to counsel for low-income people in civil cases that involve basic human needs such as shelter, safety, sustenance, health, and child custody.
The Public Justice Center (PJC) is a non-profit legal advocacy organization, founded in Maryland in 1985, that seeks to enforce and expand the rights of people who are denied justice because of their economic status or because of discrimination. The National Coalition for a Civil Right to Counsel (NCCRC) is a project of the PJC.
