Grow with our non-profit organization by providing much needed support to our organization. Help us lay the foundation of this new organization and work to provide positive technical, social + environmental change.

We need volunteers who are passionate about our cause, mission, goals, projects, and programs and have proven interests in these fields and spheres that we represent.

EDUCATION/LESSON PLAN PROJECT COORDINATOR

The Project Coordinator will support the organizations projects and programs. The Coordinator may plan a specific part in the successful execution of a project or program depending on the needs of the organization and the skill set of the volunteer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the planning and execution of curriculum development
  • Coordinates subject matter expertise in specific lesson plan topics
  • Assists in strategies for education development and successful execution of project plan.
  • Maintains productive and beneficial contact and working relationships with volunteers, the community and partners
  • Provides support and expertise for project
  • Prepare spreadsheets, perform market research
  • Create presentations, charts, and other documents

TIME COMMITMENT

  • At least 5 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education or similar field

Work or volunteer experience: 2+ years work or volunteer experience in similar field or significantly active in causes similar to SJEI’s mission.

Communication - demonstrates the ability to convey thoughts, ideas and concepts clearly in writing and orally

Planning - establishes plans that break complex projects into their component parts, each with its own timeline; organizes work into processes
