The students at Cypress College are struggling to get enough food during the COVID-19 pandemic and Pathways is able to provide a weekly drive through to collect food and get access to housing assistance.

Pathways of Hope's Cypress College Food Bank needs your help!

Would you like to organize shelf stable food and prepare about 150 bags of food on a weekly basis for Cypress College students?

The open shifts are for Tuesday morning 11am-2pm or late afternoon from 3-6pm.

Volunteers need to be over the age of 18, be able to lift 20 lbs, wear a mask, sign a volunteer waiver, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring drinking water. We are seeking a weekly volunteer, but if you can sub until we find one please sign up!

Description

Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement.
Pathways of Hope is a nonprofit organization that serves families and individuals throughout North Orange County. For over 46 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter, and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless, and marginalized through the assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses, and grants from foundations and government agencies.

The Pathways of Hope HUB of Hope offers emergency food, hygiene, and sanitation items to homeless and low-income families and individuals as well as a walk-up center for individuals and families seeking housing assistance.
