ORGANIZATION: Bull City International Film Festival

Are you an experienced fundraiser and researcher? Do you have strong connections with corporations in the Research Triangle Park and beyond? We would love to chat with you about our goals and aspirations! Our graphic design department has a sponsorship deck ready to go and now we just need help devising a plan to target donors and ongoing sponsorships. You might be the force that helps us thrive!

BCFF is always searching for team members who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.

Candidate should possess excellent communication skills and have strong administrative skills. Must possess the ability to work independently, and juggle multiple priorities.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to secure donors and contributions in support of the organization, provide oversight of the fund development program and monitor development.

Enthusiastic and experienced fundraisers who will help develop and implement strategic fundraising plans and drive revenue necessary to support BCFF's programs, projects and initiatives in order to execute its mission.

We need people committed to the goal of raising funds to ensure the financial viability and stability of the organization.

Design fundraising plans, recruit for implementation and oversee the operations.

Develop and maintain a current and long-term fundraising strategy.

Engage in promotion.

Participate in special events and fundraising. (virtual only is fine)

Analyze, develop and strengthen relationships with current and prospective major sponsors.

Tap networks for potential donors of money, time, and in-kind donations.

Find, create, and implement fundraising opportunities.

BCFF’s mission is to develop, promote and sustain a film festival that supports new media and independent film making in North Carolina and around the world while engaging audiences with new cultural and entertainment opportunities.

Our goal is to produce unique programming that showcases excellence in writing and filmmaking.

Our annual festival is held every March over one weekend. We showcase between 20-30 short films and 3-5 scripts. We also have special events such as feature film screenings with live Q&A with directors and script readings throughout the year. All events are free to attend, include discussions and guest speakers.

2022 will be our 5th year of bringing films and events with an array of remarkable guests from throughout the entertainment industry .

Only film festival in Durham specializing in narrative films with an emphasis on character driven dramas and comedies.

Only film festival in North Carolina with a screenwriting contest, including tv pilots and stage plays. Award winning scripts performed in staged readings by local actors.

Strong commitment to promoting stories written, produced, directed and performed by women, the LGBTQ community, and people of color.
