RAMP Employment Works

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program (RAMP)

MISSION: Since 1960, Employment Works has advocated for people with disabilities and for their inclusion as vital members of the workforce. We envision options and choices for people with disabilities as they seek and maintain employment that suits their choices, abilities and preferences.

RAMP is funded through Mill Levy and The Institute of Educational Leadership. It is proud to assist youth ages 13-25 who are at-risk of being involved in the juvenile justice or with mild to severe Intellectual/developmental (I/DD), mental or physical disabilities. Mentors will help youth pursue meaningful employment, life transitions and educational prep. In the past 11 years, we have served 1,700 youth in the Denver Metro Area. We help create a positive impact in a youth's life, build relationships, and provide guidance, life skills, motivation, emotional support and role modeling. Our mentors help youth explore careers, set goals and much more. Anything and everything to ensure the youth are prepared for the transition to adulthood, and to find their passions/interests.
