Mission Statement

Embrace Her Legacy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit personal development organization dedicated to equipping women and girls with the tools needed to overcome internal and external challenges in fulfilling a purpose-driven legacy. Our vision is that every girl and every woman defeats her inner saboteur, masters her relationship with self and lives out her legacy...unapologetically. We offer an extensive range of transformative personal, leadership and social-emotional development programs, workshops and coaching for women and girls worldwide.

Description

Since inception, we’ve impacted 20,000+ women and girls worldwide in over 35 countries through our programs, workshops, social media and podcast focused on personal and leadership development.

Embrace Her Legacy was birthed out of our founder's personal need. Being an Afro-Latina, first-generation college graduate, she desired to create opportunities to connect with other women to grow personally and professionally. Soon after, she launched personal and leadership development workshops for young women with an outcome of building self-esteem and leadership prowess. We call these workshops "mastHERclasses" held for girls around the country.

Our lead program is the Embrace Her Legacy Academy: NYC Summer Institute which is a personal and leadership development program offered to high-achieving, high-school girls ages 14-19. Our students include girls who demonstrate strong leadership and academic ability but may lack confidence to pursue desired education and career goals. Our program focuses on equipping young women with the tools needed to achieve unprecedented success in self-confidence, career, education and leadership. Our goal is to ignite a powerful and emotionally healthy relationship with self while using that as the foundation to realize personal and professional goals. The program also offers students the opportunity to begin growing their professional networks by connecting students to esteemed professional women and men who serve as guest instructors for select classes.
