We invite you to join our compassionate Hospice Team as a Veteran to Veteran Volunteer.
Provide Socialization and Companionship to other Veterans who are now experiencing End of Life due to terminal illness.

The Brookdale Hospice Team is on a mission to learn how to serve Veterans through the challenges they may be facing from illness, isolation or traumatic life experience.
Help us to provide excellent quality end of life care to our nation’s Veterans by offering this unique opportunity to share with other Veterans, who are more familiar with their experiences or having had similar experiences and understand the military culture.

Description
Life is much more than physical health; it is also the dignity of the human spirit. When physical health begins to fail, the nurturing of the spirit becomes increasingly important. Hospice care is a service that aids the transition between living and dying by providing respect, care, comfort, and support to patients and families.
Brookdale Hospice volunteers provide important support to the care of our patients and families. We have communities throughout the valley. We also serve outside the Brookdale walls in private homes.
Brookdale Hospice serves primarily residents at Brookdale Senior Living communities and the surrounding neighborhoods. We are CHAP accredited and a member of the NHPCO.
