ORGANIZATION: Water to Thrive

  • 8 people are interested

The Special Event Coordinator(s) would collaborate to bring to life Water to Thrive's annual fundraising event, Chef's Table Austin (CTA). This event brings together Austin's premiere chefs on a special night to raise funds in support of Water to Thrive. Each chef designs a menu that is auctioned off to the highest bidder. Along with the special menu, the night includes silent auction themed baskets, paddles up, games, food and drink.

The coordinators would organize the event (live, hybrid or virtual???). Duties would include: designing the event, developing special elements (music, entertainment), soliciting donation items, collaborating with W2T's marketing manager in promoting the event to donors and the public at large.

The coordinators would also recruit and train volunteers to assist with the event.

The delivery of CTA 2021 is yet to be determined, but might be a hybrid event based on supporter surveys.

The opportunity would start asap and run through the two weeks after the event - end of September/first of October.
