Junior Achievement of WNY provides financial literacy, career and work readiness and financial literacy programs to students in K-12 classrooms across our area. Programs are facilitated by community volunteers and with the support of the classroom teacher. Though there are virtual volunteer opportunities available, volunteers should be familiar with the Western New York area (Buffalo)

For the remainder of the 2020-21 school year, you would be paired with a classroom virtually and work through the series of lessons, with digital curriculum, at a schedule set between you and the teacher.
A 45 minute training is provided to all volunteers and are scheduled regularly throughout the spring.

Description
Junior Achievement's financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness programs prepare Kindergarten through 12th grade students for success later in life. Volunteers from the community present Junior Achievement's standardized curriculum through a series of 5-8 lessons and bring help to bring the "real world" to the students!
