Two Volunteers Needed per Weekday Afternoon from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Want to help others while you hang out with your bestie? We’re looking for pairs of volunteers who will staff our welcome tent and be the first point of contact for people entering our Escondido headquarters. You will welcome guests to our campus, check their temperatures, and then direct them to the proper area to receive services or check in for appointments with case managers or staff.
You will have direct client contact and must be able to establish boundaries and be firm but kind. There will also be periods of downtime, perfect for chatting and catching up with your best buddy.
If you have an outgoing personality, understand the importance of respecting guidelines, like to share important information (both with clients and with your friend), and want to perform a much-appreciated service for Interfaith, then this opportunity is for you!

- Must be at least 21
- One shift per week minimum, or multiple shifts per week (Afternoon from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm).
- Able to work outside in varying weather conditions. Established experience in customer care/client relations required. Experience in social services a benefit. Experience and aptitude to follow de-escalation techniques.
