Mission Statement

Global FC exists to bridge diverse cultures to come together, forming just communities where all are free to be fully-known and fully-loved in pursuit of their God-given purpose and potential. Mission: Global FC uses soccer as a vehicle for transformative impact.

Our program model is centered around building a village around each youth. The famous African proverb: 'It takes a village to raise a child!’ originated from the Nigerian Igbo culture and proverb 'Oran a azu nwa’. The Igbo’s also name their children 'Nwa ora’ which means child of the community.

Volunteers within our sports, education, and mentoring programming make up this village. Our community approach supports and celebrates youth, while holding them accountable as rising ambassadors.

We support underserved youth with the tools to overcome obstacles to success by providing resources, opportunities, and relationships towards a brighter future. We accomplish this through our three areas of programming: Soccer, Education and Mentoring.

Our holistic approach harnesses the power of relationships to reduce youth violence and family conflict, strengthen communities, inspire academic success, promote health and wellness and to create mentorship chains.
