We are looking for an experiences BSW, MSW, and/or certified prevention specialist to add to our team! The Christopher Robert Foundation is a non profit organization that aids the children in the community affected by addiction. We provide peer support groups, age appropriate addiction education, and free activities. Volunteer will be expected to add clinical input to our program and aid our team in supporting our youth. Schedule is flexible and work can be done virtually.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide children who struggle with the effects of living with familial substance use and children who suffer from grief due to a substance passing with a safe place to find the strength to cope and build a strong, healthy foundation to heal. Our task is to raise funds through charitable donations and fundraising events to provide these children/families with a safe place for growth and healing in the wake of a loss due to addiction. Our goal is to help them understand and work through the confusing and conflicting emotions that go along with an overdose death and/or the effects of familial substance use.

Description

The Christopher Robert Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides peer support groups, age appropriate addiction education and various free activities to get children active and help them cope. The children we serve are kids that have lost a loved one due to addiction or have been impacted by familial substance use. We offer support groups ran by educated volunteers and provide free activities facilitated by local partnered businesses such as dance, yoga, and martial arts.
