The event is a workshop where teens will lead a lesson (google slides) for younger students on basic graphic design/art skills such as shape, color, using texts/slogans, etc. Then, we will introduce them to the importance of researching and how to gather efficient data. Art elements such as icons, illustrations, graphs are utilized with slogans and text to create empowering messages for the online community. Ex. Positive theme posters

Mission Statement
We create volunteer opportunities to address community needs and to inspire youth for a lifetime commitment to service.
Description
YVC projects engage youth in team-based service experiences in partnership with local non-profit agencies. Our mission is to inspire a lifetime ethic of volunteerism in today's youth, tomorrow's leaders. Each service project begins with an icebreaker activity and ends with a hands-on service lesson and reflection activity on that day's work. Shauna Gholston is the program director for YVC St. Louis and can be reached through email, call or text: sgholston@yvc.org / 314-650-6230. We look forward to working with you!
