Chicago Public Library, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx) are collaborating to make 4,000+ summer Grab and Go kits for Chicago teens and families to use this summer.
Join us to prep + pack materials during April and May.
Volunteer for 3 hours and you can fill your own box too!
CCRx has a large warehouse facility that will allow us to source and package materials for the kits with safe social distancing.
The CCRx warehouse is located at 2124 W. 82nd Place Chicago, IL 60620. Parking is available: https://goo.gl/maps/DNipkJ1Tyt6298EB7 Our Entrance is from the Parking Lot.

The Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that offers materials, programs and resources to Chicago’s educational, non-profit and artistic communities. We believe it is essential to provide Chicago’s teachers with inexpensive, interesting, and useful materials, and to empower and inspire Chicago’s youth to be inventive and creative with materials at hand. Our mission is to foster creativity and connection through redistributing and reimagining surplus.
