Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters (JBBBS) is seeking an LGBTQ+ BIG (age 21 and up) to be matched with Liani, a 16 yo high school student from Brighton who identifies as pansexual and would like a BIG in the LGBTQ+ community who can help her navigate her experiences during her high school years. Liani moved from Haiti to Brighton, and lives with her mom and younger sister. Liani loves art in all forms (including digital art) and would one day like to go to art school. The best Big would be someone who is kind and patient, who enjoys art, and who identifies in the LGBTQ+ community. It does not matter the age, race, or religion of the BIG as Liani’s main interest is having a consistent caring person who shows up when making this commitment and who can support her in LGBTQ+ journey JBBBS welcomes volunteers from all religions, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Matches agree to meet 2x/mo, mostly weekends, and make at least a one year commitment. Every match is supported by a Masters Level Clinical Match Specialist who is there to help the match succeed. Car required. Check out our website: www.jbbbs.org. Volunteer today! Apply here. For more information, contact Tania@JBBBS.org. Check out the JBBBS Volunteer video here!
