Volunteers for Community Impact

Volunteers for Community Impact (VCI) needs your help making a difference in the lives of underserved girls throughout Central Florida. Through mentorship in VCI's GOAL (Girls Overcome Achieve and Learn) Program girls will become more confident, increase their knowledge of problem-solving and life skills, and develop healthy relationships with their peers. GOAL is a collaboration with the Minority Achievement Office for Orange County Public Schools' (OCPS) Find Your Voice program.

OCPS's Minority Achievement Office launched Find Your Voice to mentor and lead girls to prominent levels of accomplishment and success. Find Your Voice engages young women in activities that align with the organization’s vision to empower girls in finding their voice and identify their purpose to become impactful leaders. Find Your Voice utilizes its core values of "V.O.I.C.E." to help young women find their inner strength

We are the leading organization for senior volunteerism in the greater Central Florida area, serving Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties. Just last year, 1,186 caring adult volunteers gave 438,683 hours of service. That is more than $9.5 million dollars worth of volunteer service being poured back into our communities.

Previously known as Florida Senior Programs, VCI has been the sponsoring agency for the REtired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and Foster Grandparent Programs since 1977. Our 36 year presence has proven our aptitude for providing meaningful and impactful volunteer experiences.

VCI provides membership benefits and support to volunteers aged 55+, at no cost to the volunteers or their volunteer stations.
