Are you a sewer with a volunteer heart? We are in need of a group of dedicated sewers who would be willing to make memorial Bears/Rabbits/Animals out of clothing of our deceased patients for their families.
This is a new program we are trying to develop and I need people who are willing to lend their talents to this worthy cause. Having something to remember their loved one by is a powerful tool for healing and can bring much comfort to the bereaved.
There is no training needed for this specific program so long as you can sew, You can do it from the comfort of your home. I can deliver the clothing and pick up the finished animal if needed. You are needed to donate your time and sewing talents.
I'm seeking at least 10 volunteers so this opportunity would be perfect for a group of ladies or gentleman who love to sew. Become a Friend of Hospice today!
